A visually striking silver and coral khamsa pendant stars in this long one of a kind necklace. This pendant is a new piece and designed by a silversmith from the Souss Anti Atlas region of Morocco. I love the modern interpretation and design and the openwork detailing. Lots of character with a handcrafted artisanal aesthetic. The artist has also included his hallmark on the back of the pendant.
The spectacular hamsa hangs on a “chain” I've designed with old silver Tuareg tube beads, large pieces of antique Moroccan coral and some lovely vintage openwork silver beads.
Jump rings and wire and clasp are all sterling silver.
An extraordinary one of a kind necklace sure to attract attention.
There is a bit of weight to this pendant but the necklace is perfectly comfortable to wear.
